"APPLIANCE REPAIRS JOHANNESBURG" is located at 21 11th Road, Unit 53 Rivonia Axis, Rivonia, Sandton 2191.

We repair and service household appliances in Sandton, Randburg, Midrand, Centurion, Roodepoort, Krugersdorp, Bassonia, Glenvista, Meyersdal, Alberton, Bedfordview, Kempton Park, Benoni, Boksburg, Edenvale, Houghton, Norwood, Rosebank, Parktown and whole Johannesburg and surrounding suburbs.

In addition to referred customers, we obtain our customers through online advertising.

If, for example, your fridge, washing machine, oven, stove, dishwasher, tumble dryer, freezer or other appliance stopped working, not performing as usual or needs to be install its when you should request a service call.

 

PROCEDURES

 

After a call has been made or a reservation is submitted or an online contact has been processed, our office operator will need your contact details: Name, Contact number (specially Whatsapp number), location pin or address and your availability if you did not provide them on the form or during conversation. Once we have agreed on a call time, you can relax knowing that your appliance will be back to normal working condition very soon. Our technician will always call you before coming to your premises. During the assessement, you will receive a suggestion on what to do and the estimated cost of the repair. If you agree, the technician will work on your appliance unit and your appliance will be fixed. Most of the time, the repair can be done on the spot. In other cases where a part is needed, we have access to a very large network of spare parts suppliers.

 
Is there a call-out fee?
 

Yes, there is. Our call-outs and inspections are very affordable. There is a fee that we have to charge to cover the expenses of travel and the most valuable commodity: - time.
This call-out fee is only charged if you decide not to accept the technician's quotation.
The call-out fee for most of Pretoria, Johannesburg and Suburb areas is R500.

 
In which areas do we perform the appliance repairs?
 

We operate in whole Gauteng province and our team of technicians are located in the following locations: Centurion, Midrand, Sandton, Bryanston, Randburg, Roodepoort, Krugersdorp, Bassonia, Glenvista, Wichester Hills, Mondeor, Mulberton, Meyersdale, Alberton, Bedfordview, Norwood, Houghton, Rosebank, Braamfontein, Killarney, Parktown, Boksburg, Kempton Park, Benoni, Isando, Edenvale, Pomona and Pretoria.

If you live in Gauteng Proving in an area that is not in any of these cities, feel free to ask if We can send someone to your area.

 

TERM AND CONDITIONS

 

Appointment time will be made. The technician will call 30 minutes before the time, to confirm a time.
We repair as we go, and can only proceed to next customer when done with current customer's repair.

 

Guarantees

 

  • All parts fitted by "APPLIANCE REPAIRS JOHANNESBURG" are guaranteed ( dependent in the guarantee offered by the manufacturer) and should the part fail during this period, no charge will be made for either the part or call out and labour.

  • Most home appliance parts do not have warranty from the manufacturers and suppliers and in this case, "APPLIANCE REPAIRS JOHANNESBURG" has no warranty to give for any part which is not guaranteed by the manufacturer or the supplier; nevertheless we assure our customers a guarantee of service or repair apart from spare parts which goes up to 6 months.

  • Specific repairs carry no guarantee . This will be communicated to customer before commencing with the repair. It will be written on the invoice as well.

  • If the machine/appliance fails during the guarantee period and it is found to be a different fault, then a charge will be made for a call out. Additional repairs will be quoted for.

  • We do NOT cover food loss or spoilage in respect of refrigeration products.

  • We will NOT fit any parts not supplied by us, as we are unable to then offer a guarantee.

  • Clearing of pumps or damage caused to pumps by foreign objects, eg coins, keys, buttons will result in a chargeable repair.

  • If a repair or replacement takes place under guarantee, the guarantee does not restart.

  • Please note that guarantee cover appliances used for normal domestic purposes only.

 
General
 

  • We will carry out diagnostic, to establish any fault with the appliance and we will rectify it within the agreed cost.

  • After our inspection, a verbal quotation will be provided for parts to be supplied and labour as a total cost.

  • We will only proceed once we have verbal acceptance.
  • The repair cost is based on the job, not on the time the repair takes to perform.

 
Call out fee
 

We charge a non-refundable call out fee of R500 in following situations:

  • When customer does not accept the quote, for whatever reason.

  • When parts are not available. Supplier discontinued the parts.

  • When appliance is not repairable.

  • Where there is no fault with your appliance.

 
Refund
 

Refunds may be issued on a case-by-case basis at the owners discretion. Refunds may take up to 14 days to process. The following parts cannot be refunded : control boards, special order parts.

 
Payment
 

Payment is due at the completion of the technicians visit or the completion of the repair, whichever is later.
We accept cash, e-wallet, or Instant eft. When eft option is used, we require proof of payment, while technician is still on site.
